# Transition Readiness

Scoring 18 transition areas, with tool data alongside

18 transition areas. Each area has a score from 1 to 5. When Handy ABA Tools has data for an area, the data shows under the area. This data includes the latest Milestones and Barriers totals, probe days to mastery and retention from Probe Day, and behavior percentages from Observe.

## When

-   Plan a move to a less restrictive setting.
-   Use in IEP and transition meetings.

## Why

-   Rate of acquisition and retention come from first-trial probes. The tools already record these probes.
-   You select each score. The data helps you decide.

## How

1.  Select the learner.
2.  Open **Transition Readiness**.
3.  Tap **New assessment**.
4.  Read the data under each area.
5.  Tap a score from 1 to 5.

**Saved to the dashboard:** Your score for each area, for each assessment date. The dashboard shows the latest total and rater agreement.
